What This Page Is All About

Here is where you can find–in one convenient location–any live videos I’ve previously shared. (Technically they’re dead videos now.) Like the rest of the site, they are posted in reverse date order. To read the blog posts in which they were originally shared, click here.

March 31, 2020 (To Celebrate Blog #1096, the End of My Daily Writing, and My Three-Year Anniversary)

In this video I sum up how I feel about the end of this project, express my gratitude, and talk about what may come next.

March 31, 2019 (To Celebrate Blog #730 or My Two-Year Anniversary)

In these videos (there are two because my phone died during the first one), I read an essay I wrote a couple years ago to help me process letting go of most of my worldly possessions and starting a new life. The essay is called Letting Go of the Big House. The first video is 19 minutes long, and the second video is 5 minutes long.

September 13, 2018 (To Celebrate My Birthday and Blog #500)

In this video I celebrate my birthday at the time I was born (8:47 AM) and commemorate 500 days of daily blogging (about a month late) by reading an essay I wrote on September 27, 2016, called Right around the Corner. It’s about accepting help, saying goodbye, and realizing you’re doing better than you think. Video is 22 minutes long.

June 24, 2018 (To Celebrate Blog #450)

In this video I read an essay I wrote on September 22, 2016, called A Crack in the Wall. It’s about the physical body, healing, and hope. Video is 28 minutes long.

May 4, 2018 (To Celebrate Blog #400)

In this video I read an essay I wrote on September 4, 2016, called Some Dreams Can’t Wait. It’s the first essay I wrote that helped me processes all the “big changes” in my life and deals with the idea of belonging and contributing to one’s community. I also read my most recent blog (#400). Video is 26 minutes long.

April 1, 2018 (To Celebrate Blog #365 or My One-Year Anniversary)

In this video (my first!) I look back over one solid year of blogging and read my most recent blog (#366). Video is 23 minutes long.
